TAYLOR CLAPP

MA, LAC, NCC

Hello, welcome to My Place for Peace. First off, I’m proud of you for taking the first steps in starting your healing journey. It is a brave and admirable decision to invest in your well-being.

Let me introduce myself.

My name is Taylor Clapp, I am a Licensed Associate Counselor and a Nationally  Certified Counselor as well. I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Drew University, and my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University. I enjoy working with clients of various ages, including children, adolescents, and adults. With that being said, I do not believe that counseling is a “one size fits all” situation where one skill works for everyone. I utilize an integrated approach which allows me to adjust to clients’ needs along the journey they are on as needed. My goal is to meet you where you are at, and work together to reach your counseling goals while advocating for you along the way. I will always aim to create a safe space and provide support, allowing for you to freely express any thoughts and feelings. Thank you for allowing me the possibility to walk alongside you in your healing journey.

Here are some fun facts about me!

  • I am a dog lover - I have a puppy named Belle.

  • I enjoy all types of music but specifically enjoy country and pop.

  • I love to read in my free time, one of my favorite authors is Frieda McFadden.

  • I also enjoy yoga and meditation.
